An elite CIA team had their fingerprint on the terrorists and were closing in on them at Logan airport, in the very early morning hours of 9.11.01. This team was blocked from entering Logan airport by the FBI and shut off from acting on the intel that could have stopped the terrorist attacks, before the planes lifted off. In the aftermath of this tragedy, many lower level operatives were fired and this elite CIA team was dismantled. Eight years later terrorist activities are on the rise again and the CIA will do whatever it takes to stop these new threats. The CIA has created a new and improved top secret unit known as Echelon 8 (E-8). The approval for this controversial team came from a congressional shadow government committee known only as the Keepers. E-8's newly chartered purpose is surveillance of and protection from domestic terrorism.
